We stayed at Christina’s Beach House for two glorious weeks. After exploring the beaches all around Kassiopi, Christina’s house may be the most beautifully located spot in the area. The three bedroom home was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the outdoor grill was great for making kebabs after a day of boating and swimming.
The beds are incredibly comfortable, which each room having its own a/c. There is plenty of room to store your things, especially if you’re an over-packer, like me!There are several houses along the stunning bay, which is just steps from the house. Christina’s house has the particular advantage of a huge second floor deck with spectacular views of the bay and boats of all shapes and sizes passing by. We spent many hours over coffee in the mornings and wine at night, marveling at sailing yachts that were are neighbors for a night or two.
Other reviews here describe the easy walking access to Kassiopi town, and the lovely trail that takes you there in about 10 minutes. On the way you come to the “tiny beach” , which is perfect for a picnic and swim.
We had great meals in Kassiopi, had dinners at home a few nights on the deck, but also enjoyed cocktails and wine with dinner at Katia Beach Hotel, a 5 minute walk from the house, just off the beach. Christina and Dimitri are very kind hosts. They thoughtfully left a breakfast basket for us, with coffee, tea, bread, milk, etc.
We’ll be back!
