Finca la Estrella de Cómpeta is een prachtige, volledig gerenoveerde karakteristieke Spaanse boerderij. Het is gelegen in 'de campo' in de buurt van het mooie witte Moorse witte dorp Cómpeta en ook in de buurt van het strand van Torrox Costa. Het huis, met 3000m2 grond en een groot zwembad, is de ultieme plek voor degenen die privacy, natuur en ontspanning op prijs stellen. Vanaf de verschillende terrassen rond het huis en het zwembad heb je een adembenemend uitzicht op prachtige heuvels en bergen. Het huis is omgeven door oleanders, bougainville, olijfbomen, amandelbomen en cipressen. De regio heeft het beste klimaat van Europa gedurende het hele jaar.
Kortom, een ideale plek voor gezinnen met oudere kinderen of voor familieleden of vrienden die graag samen vakantie willen delen.

Super verblijf gehad bij Finca La Estrella. Fijne verhuurder!

Zeer fijne vakantiewoning met alle voorzieningen. De woning beschikt tevens over verschillende terrassen met een schitterend uitzicht. Wij hadden problemen met een airco in een slaapkamer maar ondanks de vakantieperiode waardoor monteurs schaars zijn heeft Hetty dit toch nog voor ons vanuit Nederland op kunnen lossen. Ook de beheerder Peter is een erg aardige en behulpzame man. Wij raden deze woning en verhuurder van harte aan.

Excellent house with lovely pool set in delightful hillside location with super views

As a family of 4 adults and 1 teenager we found the house and pool met all our requirements - space, character, well equipped, comfortable beds, peaceful and plenty of shade when needed. We visited Nerja, Frigiliana, Malaga and Competa where we found interesting with things to do, places to visit and good food. The road up into the hills was quite twisty turny and the track to the house is bumpy and requires concentration, but over the course of the week you get used to it. Great to be met by the guardian Patrick and escorted to the house, thank you. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A true slice of tranquility and superb scenery.

Well where do you start describing Villa Estrella de Competa. Once you have got used to driving the challenging track from the road to the villa, you are rewarded with traditional rural Spanish scenery and peace and quiet you can only dream of. The villa has the authentic Finca feeling about it and has a good balance between old and new. It is bright and airy during the day and cool and quiet at night. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen windows have mosquito screens on them, allowing you to keep them open at night for good airflow. On top of that, the bedrooms and the main living room have ceiling fans to add a gentle breeze. The beds are all singles (pushed together in the two main bedrooms to make doubles) and very comfortable compared to your usual villa beds. Outside there is a large patio area split between an area with sun loungers and a table for outside eating that seats eight people. You can sit here eating and drinking a good Rioja whilst watching the world go by, be it, the occasion car driving along the winding country road, the goat herder and his herd of goats as they pass by in the evening or the neighbour to the left of the Finca tending to his mango plants. As you go down a small flight of steps to a lower lever, you are met by the sight of the pool. It is a little deep at the deep end, but is much larger than the majority of Spanish villa pools. A further four sun loungers are situated around the pool (making the total number of loungers six) and a nice breeze blows over the pool so you can either enjoy swimming/playing in the pool or lie in the sun without feeling too hot. Don't be fooled though as the pool area is a complete sun trap and you will certainly burn without realising it unless you use sun screen. This is a villa you won't want to leave when your holiday has ended and will count the months until you return.

Amazing!

Mmmm, La Estrella de Cómpeta.. The sun, the locals, the food, the wine, the shops, the pool, the house, the nature.. In one word: great! Had an amazing time with my amazing friends over there. You should go there too!

Peace and quiet and everything you need!

The perfect spot if you're looking for a holiday away from all the chaos and want to settle for some peace and quiet. Lovely pool, great bedrooms and with some awesome company and good food it makes it all complete. Really enjoyed staying here!

We, Arend and Hetty welcome you in our fabulous house in Cómpeta. We bought this house in may 2013. We've been busy with the improvement, the furnishing etc. during a couple of months. Since September 2013 we rent the house for people, who, like us, want to enjoy the nature, sun and rest.

Authentic, completely renovated, detached Andalucian finca, with a large swimming pool, situated in the beautiful hills of Competa. The house stands on 3000 m2 of land with olive trees, almond trees, oleander, bougainvillea, etc. From the terraces around the house you have a magnificent view of the hills and mountains. It is the perfect place for people who are looking for privacy, nature and relaxation.
The house can accommodate 6 people. It consists of two parts: the finca and built an attached apartment.
The finca has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, with bath, shower, toilet, hairdryer and a cozy dining and living room, each with a fireplace.
The plot includes a brand-new fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave and induction hob.
The living room includes TV with several Dutch and international channels and a stereo.
The apartment, consists of a lounge and a bedroom with two comfortable beds, bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer. The apartment has direct access to the pool.
All bedrooms have 2 luxury beds (2 x 90 cm x 200 cm). All the bedrooms have airconditioning,
From the terraces and the pool you have a breathtaking view of the hills and mountains. The whole house is surrounded by oleander, bougainvillea, olive trees, almond trees and cypresses.
The house is located about 3 kilometers from the center of the picturesque Andalucian white village of Competa with cozy restaurants and bars, a market on Saturday and a couple of small supermarkets and shops.
