Above Bayards, is a spacious apartment affording comfortable accommodation for a party of five or just the two of you. The magnificent windows offer a commanding view over the River Dart and out to sea. Overlooking historic Bayards Cove, and with views across to Kingswear, visitors have been captivated by life on the River Dart, either in the daytime or evening - there is always something to watch and there is something very calming about watching the ebb and flow of the river.
The shower rooms are fitted wonderful power showers which offer a touch of luxury. There is a small outside Terrace which catches the sunshine for an hour or so around 11.00am - 12.00pm, in the Summer months and it's just nice to be away from all the activity and maybe spend an hour reading your latest novel.
The entrance hall stairs and landing have just been completely refurbished.
Above Bayards, is just a few minutes walk into the heart of town and conversely just those few minutes provide quietness in the evening. It's location also offers an excellent base for keen walkers, details of local walks can be obtained at the Tourist Information Office.
The famous Dartmouth Arms pub, sits just below the apartment in Bayards Cove and was used in the filming of the Onedin Line, way back in the 1970's(!) and more recently The Coroner.
Bayards Cove, is a particular favourite for children to spend hours crabbing.
