We hired Queens Park house for my Nan's 80th birthday. our party consisted of 11 adults and 2 children the house accommodated us easily. The house was well appointed, although a little rough around the edges and could do with some touching up and minor repairs. That being said it in no way effected our weekend. The house layout wasn't quite what I was expecting from the description, but all the rooms were a generous size. (although most bedrooms lacked wardrobes) We particularly enjoyed the kitchen.
the house was in a great location, a short walk to the seafront and pier, with the benefit of free street parking which is rare in brighton and will save you a fortune! (although sometimes took a while to find a space.)
Julian, the owner was brilliant. throughout booking and leading up to our stay, he was prompt in replying to queries and was very helpful.
This house is well suited to large family gatherings, and is a child friendly house, with cots and highchairs available.
we had a lovely weekend and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
I recommend if you're staying in brighton check out the tea cosy tearoom in Kemptown. its not much to look at from the outside, but does lovely afternoon/high teas and is very quirky!
