Villa met drie slaapkamers en 2 badkamers met privézwembad en een groot overdekt terras met natte bar. Gelegen in een woonwijk. Binnen gemakkelijke wandelingen naar twee mooie roze zandstranden, golf, tennis etc. 15 minuten van het vliegveld, 15 minuten van Bridgetown. Het spijt ons dat deze accommodatie niet geschikt is voor rolstoelgebruikers, omdat er drie stelen zijn om de accommodatie te betreden en de badkamers niet zijn uitgerust voor gehandicapten.

Barry's Surf Barbados Surf School en Oistin's Friday Night Fish Fry zijn ook zeker het bezoeken waard. Jetskiën en duiken zijn geweldige manieren om van het water te genieten. Even better than the pictures!

We had the most enjoyable stay here in Barbados. The pool was fabulous. Perfect for kids learning swimming and regular moments to cool down. The photos don't do it justice. The home was spacious with a good layout. The seating areas and loungers and dining area all add to the comfort and enjoyment. We loved that we could listen to our music through the speakers. The owner and the manager were very helpful whenever we needed anything. The information folder was really useful. This is a short walk to Rockley beach which is lovely and the home is not far from everything we wanted. Please don't go to the nearby Quayside without trying the Doubles, still the best, ten years after our last visit. Worth noting that the aircon in bedrooms can only be on when you are in the room and also this home has traditional windows with slats and no glass, if you find insects an issue. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location

The property was spacious, with everything as expected. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were all well maintained. We spent most our time in the outdoor pool area, which had a mix of sun and shaded areas which was perfect

Gorgeous home away from home. In a wonderful neighbourhood.

Our stay at Julielm House was nothing short of perfect. We arrived around 7.30pm in the evening at the house. Amanda greeted us and kindly offered to take us to Massey supermarket before it closed at 8pm to get in some essentials, Which helped us out a lot! We used the kitchen facilities a lot for cooking/making coffee/cocktails etc. Everything seems brand new in the kitchen area which was great for me being a chef! Also, the bar area outside has running water and a power point which makes cocktail making easy and great fun!! We also took advantage of the BBQ (Grill) outside on quite a few occasions. The table area and seating outside on the terrace are perfect. Huge solid granite table where we spent most evenings chilling, or on the couches overlooking the swimming pool. The swimming pool was used everyday to cool us all down after being in the sun. During the day, we would open up all the blinds in the house as suggested in the handbook to get a breeze flowing around the house. All 3 rooms were spacious and very clean. 2 of the rooms open out onto the terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The other looks out onto the front space and road. This beautiful house is located in such a lovely area of Barbados. If you hire a car, the supermarkets (Trimart & Massey) are less than a 5 minute drive. But you can also walk here in under 15 minutes. The local area (Rockley) is amazing, As you approach the beach area, there is a perfect balance of holiday makers who want to experience local culture, and locals who are super friendly. Our favourite find was the restaurant, Shakers. The Food and Cocktails here are probably the best we had. Rockley/Accra beach was our fave. There is a large bar called Tiki Bar where you can get some sun loungers for the beach and they give you the money back in bar/food vouchers. Also, there are several bars/Rum Shacks on this beach like Chicken George & Oasis, just the other side of the large car park. Worthing Beach is also close which is absolutely stunning and has a few eating/drinking options. Theres also bars/restaurants on the main road as you come down from the house just before you get to the beach. This was our second stay in Barbados. The first time we stayed on the North/West coast. If we stay in Barbados again, we would 100% want to stay at Julielm House again. We absolutely loved it.

good location, nice pool, would not return

not too far of a walk to the beach and restaurants, as well as supermarket (about 15 min walk). was on a very noisy street, dogs barking all day and night long, was quite difficult to sleep. that and the beds were very uncomfortable. house had everything you needed, lots of towels, outdoor furniture, pool, boogie boards. wish that the host would supply toilet paper, not exactly something I like to worry about while I am on vacation. we were not pleased with the cleaning service, she was at the place all afternoon and it still wasn't clean when she left, our sheets were dirty and had hair on them, and the towels weren't washed. she talked on the house phone the entire time she was there and we almost missed our tour because our driver couldn't get through to us on the phone. also not impressed at all with the check out system, owner claimed that we took a pillow and lost a set of keys which was not the case and we never got our deposit back and never heard back from him again on the matter. would not return.

Holiday

The house was lovely, a home from home. The pool area was secluded and peaceful. Plenty of local birds popped into the garden. We purchased amazing local fish to BBQ, trips out to gardens and beauty spots. The beaches were spotless and so easy to get to. We had a car but you could easily catch buses. Trip to the Mount Gay rum factory was fatal. Thoroughly recommend.

I am a Barbadian and my wife is from the UK. This home was bought by my parents in 1962. We recently refurbished the property so that we can use it as a holiday home as it is in a lovely neighbourhood, close to Bridgetown, the airport, some lovely beaches and golf and tennis facilities.
