Ruime, luxe villa met airconditioning, een eigen zwembad en ongerepte panoramische uitzichten

We were a family of eight including two twelve year olds. We had a wonderful family holiday at this lovely villa which is the best equipped villa we have stayed at. Very spacious with great outside area.

Nina was so welcoming when we arrived early and she was so helpful with directions and advice on all sorts. She even gave us her mobile number to call if we needed anything and brought us organic grapes midway through our stay. We had an issue with the air con on our second week and Jackie arranged very quickly for an engineer to call.

The pool was such a bonus given the very warm weather during our stay.

A visit to Lac du Salagou is a must.

We will definitely be back.

Wonderful 2 week family holiday with 3 generations in a spacious, comfortably furnished villa, well equipped kitchen and lounge, excellent air-conditioning all over, and swimming pool used almost constantly by the children. Plenty of parking in the safe gated property.

The view across the vineyards, olive plantations, fields and odd barn towards the hills and mountains is sublime...so peaceful. The old part of the village is attractive, has a good boulangerie, wine caveand restaurant. The villagers are friendly and helpful. Good le clerc supermarket at le Bosch about 10 minutes drive.

Recommend canoeing and swimming in the Herault gorge.

Deze ruime villa met alle mogelijke comfort is goed onderhouden en biedt plaats aan een familie tot acht personen.

Het terrein is beperkt in oppervlakte. Er is plaats om enkele auto’s te parkeren. De inrit is beveiligd.

Het zwembad is niet groot, over de hele lengte 1,5 meter diep en op een aangename temperatuur. Het terras is ruim genoeg, maar ligt in de volle zon,. Er is een klein stuk overdekt terras, maar dit biedt weinig schaduw. Dit is een minpuntje. Ligstoelen en parasol aanwezig.

Wij waren tevreden over de ganse lijn.

We planned for a large family holiday together and the only disappointment choosing this villa in the end was that we only booked for a week. It’s ideally located on the edge of a quiet village with spectacular views over the countryside yet within 10 minutes of the A75 motorway junction which handily has a hypermarket next to it. The coast, Montpellier and its airport (regular EasyJet flights from Gatwick), nearby towns and villages such as Lodeve, Clermont l’Herault – where there’s a big market on a Wednesday - Pezanas, St Guilham le Desert and many other attractions (don’t miss the unusual Velorail du Larzac at St Eulalie) are all at most within an hour away.

Above all the villa itself was the highlight, ideal for our large family party and one of the best places we’ve have stayed at. Fantastically well-equipped we wanted for pretty much nothing but nevertheless it’s worth mentioning some of the features that were absolutely essential at a time when temperature records in France were being smashed all over the place.

The air conditioning in every bedroom and the main living area was incredibly efficient and made daily life, and more importantly, sleeping much more comfortable. Every mod con was provided in the large kitchen although it was barely used for cooking as the weather dictated the gas barbeque provided was used every night. The enormous fridge was a godsend but more importantly, the cold water and ice machine within it made the separate beer and wine fridge nearly (only nearly!) redundant, such was the call for instantly cold soft drinks. Finally of course the swimming pool was in constant use to cool down but particularly by our 19 month old grandson on his first proper holiday who had a wonderful time wearing his parents out supervising his splashing around.

We can’t recommend this place highly enough and Jackie, the local representative was extremely friendly and very helpful without ever being intrusive and was easily available by text and mobile.

All in all a great holiday and I’m sure we’ll be doing it again here, next time with a few other family members who couldn’t make it this time.

Beautiful views in a peaceful setting were enjoyed by all in this family time together. The exceptionally hot temperatures were so much easier to cope with, given the excellent air conditioning throughout the home. The quiet buttons in the bedrooms were great to use at night. Two fridges were so appreciated for plenty of cold drinks and the ice dispenser was well used!

Two upstairs bedrooms were ‘proper’ ensuites, the two downstairs almost were. Each had their own showers but shared a nearby WC.

The house was spotlessly clean on arrival and we were able to drop off bags early before doing the ‘big shop’. Jackie was really helpful without being ‘in your face’.

Loads to do nearby, particularly loved Pont du Diable. Boulangerie was five minutes walk away in the pictoresque village.

Only downside to the property, which would not affect everyone, was the angle of the drive on entering the property. My car (Nissan Pulsar) is very low and so the front rubber spoiler came off the first time I (very slowly) drove out. My son’s hire car (Renault Twango) had no problem and I suspect most cars would be fine.

This was a really enjoyable time and one of the best villas we have stayed in. Hoping to return!
