Appartement El Médano

Good value for money

La ubicacion es privilegiada, en primera linea de playa. El apartamento es luminoso. Hay algunos arreglillos pendientes (en su descarga, fuimos a final de temporada) tipo algun azulejo partido, alguna mancha en la pared, y el sillon es claramente mejorable, pero todo funciona y se esta agradablemente despues de un dia de playa. Repetiria.

We could't have had a better choice...The beach was in our feet, the supermarkets, restaurant and cafes - all around us. The apartment was very clean and easy to maintain clean. Kitchen - equipped with everything. View from the balcony where me and hubby would have our morning coffee - beautiful. I can't find a single faulty feature of the apartment.

A word of warning, though, for something outside the subject 'apartment'. Apply religiously sun cream as the wind (and it's present all the time) does not make you feel hot at all while sunbathing. I had a nasty sunburn and spent most of my holiday in the apartment (great to be there, though, it's so cozy).

There is no Hospital or A&E in El Medano, so equip yourself with all sorts of sun lotions and creams from the nearby Pharmacy (working till 8pm).

Because the apartment was so close to the beach, I was finding it hard to fall asleep as at one point the waves were making too much noise, but earplugs did wonders.

Overall, we loved the apartment, how close the beach, shops and everything is. Highly recommended.
