'SANDY PALMS' OP HET STRAND 'eigendom' is onze nieuw gebouwde en ontworpen strandappartementen en is zo dicht bij het strand mogelijk!
Deze voordelige studio / efficiëntie heeft een kingsize bed (of 2 x eenpersoonsbedden indien gewenst), een kitchenette met 2 kookplaten, een koelkast, een magnetron, een broodrooster, een koffiezetapparaat, enz. Douche kamer met toilet en wastafel, eethoek met tafel en stoelen, loveseat, airconditioning en plafondventilator, flatscreen kabeltelevisie met 53 grote kanalen, radio / cd-speler. De ventilator en plafondventilator zorgen ervoor dat onze gasten in comfort blijven.
Buiten is er een eigen terras op zee, met buitentafel en stoelen om te ontspannen of al fresco-maaltijden.
Slechts een paar stappen, hoewel onze palmboom gevulde tuin is, is het prachtige strand van Hoopers Bay - beschouwd als het BESTE OM IN EXUMA te blijven en het enige strand met ingezetene GROENE TURTEN om te kijken of te zwemmen!
Het 1/2 mijl lange, zachte witte zandstrand glijdt zachtjes in de geweldige blauwe, rustige en veilige zee om te zwemmen, te snorkelen, de groene schildpadden te kijken of te ontspannen op onze ligstoelen en stoelen. Voor de meer energieke, hebben we GRATIS kajaks voor onze gasten om te genieten van het verkennen van meer van de beschermde baai.
Alhoewel rustig gelegen, ligt Georgetown International Airport op slechts 10 minuten afstand (onze toegewijde taxichauffeur zal u daar groeten), terwijl de hoofdstad Georgetown 6 minuten ligt. Niet nodig om te rijden of taxi naar winkels als we een goed bereik hebben binnen een 5 minuten makkelijke wandeling voor boodschappen, slager en deli, apotheek en drank.
Vlieg naar Georgetown Airport (GGT) is eenvoudig met DIRECT dagelijkse vluchten op AA, Delta en United en Air Canada heeft ook DIRECT vluchten vanuit Toronto. Meer lokaal zijn er elke dag verschillende vluchten vanaf Nassau in Bahamasair of Sky Bahamas. Terwijl we in de buurt wonen, begroeten wij onze gasten persoonlijk en zijn ze beschikbaar wanneer nodig om informatie te helpen of om activiteiten te organiseren zoals boottochten, enz.

Amazing Trip!

This was the most amazing vacation! The room was perfect and so close to the beach. We swam with sea turtles, saw shooting stars, rented a boat, snorkeled and took a water taxi to Chat N Chill to feed conch to stingrays! We could have stayed for a month. Thank you for a wonderful experience and the vacation of a lifetime.

The house is just perfect for my crew. The beach is the best I've found anywhere in the world so far. We always look forward to our next stay at Sandy Palms!

Hoopers bay: what a surprise!

Peter was a very landlord: he describes you everything about the house and the island. The apartment is small but well equipped and is very very close to the beach (my beloved ones on Exuma for sunset and turtles!). We had some problems with mosquitos due to some rainy mornings.

YOUR LITTLE PARADISE

Just returned from our vacation and absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sandy Palms. The nice and lovely studio has everything you need. And the Hooper's Beach in front of the house is just beyond gorgeous. Even after days of exploring different beautiful beaches on the island, we still found it breath-taking every afternoon after we came back. We also loved the little tropical garden in front of the house, it's a very nice 15 seconds walk before you get to the beach. You can get kayaks and paddle boards that can take you to nearby beaches. Location is absolutely A++. There are restaurants and groceries very close by and George Town is less than 10 minutes away. Since it's centrally located, it's very convenient to explore the northern and southern parts of the island, where some most famous beaches and restaurants are at. Our host, Peter, is superb. He was more than willing to answer any of our questions and provided us a lot of information about the island. We had a lot of fun chatting with him. Overall, this is definitely the place to stay if you're going to Exuma and we would definitely recommend it to our friends.

Betty & Peter moved to Exuma in 1999 after 15 years of owning and operating a popular guest house in England. They then created the Award Winning 'Coral Gardens' B&B Guest House which has been VOTED #1 on EXUMA every year since 2009 by the worlds largest travelers site.
Realising that many guests like to have a choice of being DIRECTLY on the beach, they finally found their ideal and nearby location on the beautiful Hoopers Bay which they named 'SANDY PALMS' as the garden which surrounds the property is filled with palm trees. They created a number of self-catering Studio and Apartment accommodations ranging from comfortable and economical Studio/Efficiency for a couple (one with a Queen bed & the other with 2 x Twins or 1 King bed), also a larger 2 room apartment for a family or 4 people, and a huge 8 person apartment with 4 bedroom and 4 bathrooms for groups of families or friends. This allows them to match their guests needs for the right sized and right priced accommodation and still offering peace and quiet as all the units have their own entrances in different parts of the building and separate patios and sundecks.
They were pleased to have been awarded 3 certificates of excellence by the worlds largest travel advisory company for the various studios & apartments based on guests satisfaction.
As they live nearby, they not only arrange the short taxi ride from the airport, where you will be greeted by their dedicated taxi driver, Patricia, but they will personally welcome you to 'Sandy Palms' and show you around and give you maps and other information.
Their desire is to help our guests enjoy the holiday THEY want-whether it is simply a peaceful and relaxing time or activity filled. With their combined 40+ years experience welcoming guests to Exuma they are able to make the best suggestions for making the most of a visit to the island.
