3rd stay at Unit 414
This was our 3rd , one week stay at Unit 414 . As always the Unit smelled fresh and inviting . The weather was iffy , but with the views from the condo and surrounding area , no one seemed to mind . We look forward to our 4th stay next May .
Owner took damage deposit for no reason
We stayed in this unit for 7 nights. Location is good, with only steps to the ski lifts. The unit was dirty when we arrived with hair on the floor and in the sinks. Appliances work but are very old and hard to properly cook with. Our biggest concern was that our entire damage deposit was taken from us. We cleaned up after ourselves, no damage was caused, ran the dishwasher and emptied out all garbages. When we asked for our deposit back, Gerald, the owner, made up a bunch of stories about damage we caused. When we tried to ask for proof, he refused to answer our emails. I would be very concerned about renting from this unit.
We are certainly pleased to hear that you enjoyed the condo and its location to the ski hill. However, it is very surprising that nothing was mentioned upon check in that the condo was not cleaned properly. The cleaning company would have gladly dropped in and made things right upon your request. It is interesting this cleaning issue was only mentioned after you were made aware of the damage done to the condo. The statement that the damage deposit was taken/not returned is certainly inaccurate, as the damage deposit was returned in full. As we stated in email correspondences, there was a very large dent found in the freezer door of the fridge that looked like it could have been caused by a ski pole. There was a dark drink splashed down the dining room wall and carpet and the cleaners reported game pieces scattered, not only all over the deck, but also in the garden 4 floors below. After numerous email correspondences about the condition the condo was found in, we had a medical emergency to deal with and the time to pursue the damage claim with Homeaway expired. While dealing with more urgent issues at that time, pursuing a damage claim was certainly not a top priority. In the end, the reporting time period for damage claims elapsed with Homeaway and the damage deposit was fully credited back to you. The condo was cleaned and the dent in the refrigerator freezer is still there.
Awesome Place! Lovely Condo!
The condo had everything our family needed to have a awesome holiday in Pano. It was comfortable, clean and location was great.
Property was perfect. It was clean and spacious and most importantly, extremely well located.
This was a great place for a summer getaway. The whole family enjoyed the place. TV and dishwasher are a bit archaic, but that was pretty minor given the benefits of the unit and the mountainside complex.
Excellent Spring Break Weekend
We had a great 3 night stay at Gerald's Tamarack Condo. We are a family of 4 and there was plenty of room for us. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Gerald was excellent to deal with and answered any questions that we had very quickly. From the Unit, to the elevator, to the ski locker and then 30-40 steps to the base of the chair, was absolutely perfect!
