The loft was the perfect place to spent our holiday. A well kept home with all the utensils you need. A place to relax in the nice green surroundings and stunning views. The owner Liz is to kind. If you need anything she will make sure you will get it.
E.g. Our son was 16 months at the time and Liz made sure the Loft was safe by installing a safety rack in front of the fire place and a childs safety guard on top of the stairs.
She stole our hearts.
If you want information about the surroundings or other counties, there are lots of brochures available.
A lot of people spend their holidays a week but we chose to go for two weeks, we drove a lot but it is worthwhile.
We can recommend The Loft to anyone who enjoys e.g. rest, green paddocks, mountains, walking, fishing, culture, stunning views and friendlyness The Loft is THE place to stay.
Liz Take care and keep up the good work. It would be nice to meet again someday.

We had a lovely week at Aghowle house, finding it was a little bit of a challenge, but through GPS coordinates we where directed to within 20 meters.
The pictures do not do the loft full justice, it is in fact much nicer.
This is a roomy, well kept, place to stay fitted with all the modern amenities one could wish for.
Nearest (sizeable) town is Tullow which can provide all you need, only a good 10 mins by car.
Sitting on the porch at sunset, listening to all the wildlife up on the hill, and watching deer, and even a fox, pass through the fields was soothing to say the least.
The kids had a great time playing with the dogs (Tara and Spike) and enjoyed the evenings playing games by the stove after a days running about.
Enjoyed every minute of our stay!
We found a delightful, peaceful haven. We were so happy to see that the building had been sympathetically converted retaining much of its original and attractive features. The Loft was equipped with all the comforts essential for a happy relaxed stay - tastefully decorated, light and airy with a spacious open plan living area, occupying the whole of the first floor, from where we could enjoy the wonderful country setting and views. The emphasis was certainly on comfort - sofas to sink into, good beds with quality bedding ensuring blissful sleep, a well equipped, modern kitchen, a delightful little balcony from where we could enjoy breakfast and the dawn chorus and, in the evening, a glass of wine and the swooping swallows. We were welcomed to the Loft with a fresh vase of flowers in the centre of a beautifully dressed dining table for 6. There were plenty of books on the bookshelf (I was thrilled to find a French novel, as I had forgotten to bring mine!) There was plenty to please the teenagers too, a great TV, reliable fast internet, a good music system, Peter the Donkey, Willow the horse and of course Puss the well mannered cat who visited us on the balcony each day and the thrills and spills of teenage living were never more than an hours drive away, along good and very, very quiet country roads. Our communications with Liz (our host) were warm and friendly, and her relaxed and generous spirit was very evident. We were sorry that we were not able to meet her on this occasion, as she was away but I look forward to it next time when we most definitely will be back!
Beautiful building, looks far bigger and more lovely in real life, so peaceful and relaxing. The owner was very friendly and laid back, we got to know the animals very well, the dogs and our dog got on well. Destressed totally with partner and teenage daughter, loved the area and the people. Visited friends and travelled, georgously week, would return in future.
We stayed with four adults in the loft and enjoyed it very much, spacious- clean- modern-complete holiday house!! And a very nice aria to hike and visit Dublin and offcourse the beautifull weather and host Lizz.
Ireland was for us a plessent surprise!!
