Perfect location, perfect accommodation and the warmest of welcomes. Fresh fruits and flowers on the table. Some main necessities in the fridge and every appliance easy and working. This apartment in a quiet cul-de-sac, in a typical NewTown-house, has everything we needed and more. The rooms light and airy even in winter, and the view to the park giving an even bigger sense of space. It's a 10minutes walk to the action of Princess Street while a 10minutes walk the other way leads to little gems like Dean Village. Good venues are close by, and for Hogmanay-goers like us, there is no place better to stay. Mind you, despite its vicinity, no loud-party-goer crosses this street to go home. Also in the proximity are all the cities must-sees. We found ourselves inspired by one of the books in the bookcase and decided to flee the town for a day to do a walk in the highlands since they are easy to reach from here. Having a car is no problem. There is a perfect private-spot for parking and roads going directly out of the city are near and easy to reach. We only had one disappointment about this place: we finally had to go home. While writing this we are still in a bit of a dilemma: shall we spread the word, or keep this beautiful gem to ourselves? Anyway for us, this is a 5-star accommodation all the way through, and we would love to come back to it again.
