Great long weekend trip with the boys. Definitely meet and exceeding our expectations, very clean, great family environment. Perfect for a day of fishing or relaxing with a book.
Cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Pack your bags and bring your groceries and your all set for a good time. Campfire in the fire pit is a great way to end the day. Laura and Clark were friendly and very outgoing - ask and you shall receive!
Can't wait to comeback next summer.
This cabin was perfect for a group of guys' fishing weekend. The cabin was very clean, stocked with anything you need and Clark and Laura are the best hosts you could hope for! They treated us like family and everyone around treated us the same! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful cabin with surreal views for a more than reasonable rate! This cabin was perfect for our group! Thanks again Clark and Laura!
enjoyed my stay. Laura and Clark are wonderful host's. All the comforts of home. Will return again , will highly recommend to anyone that loves to fish, or just sit and relax. I have stayed at many place's for vacation , and this rank's very high . Wish it was closer to my home would visit more . Was treated like family ,most place's does not do that. Looking forward to my next visit.
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Clark and Laura we very nice and accommodating in any needs we had. My family and are planning on another stay next year.
My family of 6 had the pleasure of staying at this cabin. The setting is incredible, the owner's description is precise. Clark and Laura were the MOST gracious of hosts bending over backwards to make sure we were enjoying our time. It is obvious the passion they feel about their property and they are eager to share the history and interesting facts about the area. Not owning a boat they researched for us and found out that unfortunately there is not a rental place, but spontaneously, Clark was able to take us out for an afternoon of fun exploring, fishing, and tubing. The kids loved it! Our vacation was made when we came upon bass munching on mayflies and were able to fashion a fishing pole out of tree twigs and line and caught 3 fish, we ate like Kings!
The cabin is very well equipped with cooking necessities, games, linens, comfy beds, and many modern necessities.
Our running joke is we don't repeat vacations, but we are looking forward to staying with Clark next year!!
This was along overdue fishing trip for my father, brother and myself. After coming to Sugar Island for 12 consecutive years during my childhood, we have not been here for 19 long years. Clark King helped us rekindle the passion we used to have for returning annually on a family vacation. Clark went out of his way to make sure we had everything that we needed. The knowledge Clark has of the waters will be more than valuable for all true fisherman. If you are looking for a great cabin with a gracious host this is the place.
