Great condo, perfect location!
Wonderfully equipped condo right on Grammy Jay! It is the closest condo to the trail so couldn't be more convenient! We took our 3 kids so it was perfect for breaks and for letting the kids do runs on their own! Very clean condo , had everything we needed!
Wonderful Location and Accomodations
The condo was lovely and very well outfitted. The kitchen supplies were high end, beds and pillows comfortable, and even the games were great.
More detailed directions to the property and on how to run the video games would have been helpful.
We will be back!
Had an an awesome stay at Krystals condo. the location was perfect. Had all the amenities we needed and Krystal was super responsive.
I rent through VRBO/ Homeaway often. Krystal and Michael's place was wonderful. It was immaculate, had everything you could possibly need, (even kitchen supplies and some toiletries) and the location on the slope was great! I highly recommend renting it. The resort itself offers so much to do- skiing, iceskating, waterpark, nordic center, restaurants...

Condo not cleaned and lied to about compensation
Loved this place the first time we stayed a few yrs ago, but when we came back in March 2015 we had a very different experience. We arrived at around 8pm and the condo had not been cleaned since the previous tenants stayed 2 weeks before (dirty kitchen, dirty bathrooms, full garbage cans, bedding in piles on the floor). We cleaned the kitchen so we could make supper, including scraping off the melted cheese hardened in the sink, pretty gross. We called the owner and eventually convinced her that the condo had not been cleaned. She agreed to send someone out to clean and offered to provide financial compensation for the inconvenience but that we could talk about that later. The cleaner (who was very nice) showed up about an hour later and cleaned up around us, not the most relaxing environment but we understood that mix-ups happen. If that was the only problem we would've chalked it up to a simple miscommunication with the cleaning staff, no big deal.
The really disappointing part about our stay is that the Owner (or manager) did not actually get back to us about the financial compensation she offered. Not only that she has not even returned any of my emails. Nice condo but now that I know about the untrustworthy management, I will avoid.
I am the rental manager for this condo and have been for several years. In the 2014/2015 season we changed cleaners, and are very pleased with them still. As the reviewer stated, sometimes mistakes happen, and in this situation, the cleaners had a communication occur and and their records showed our condo cleaned as usual, ready for the upcoming guests/tenants to arrive. (I live over 5 hours away, so rely on their communication records to ensure that things are all set between tenants). Unfortunately, when Tim arrived he found that it had not been cleaned, and reached out to me to alert me of the situation. We at first were worried that someone had been in the condo between rentals, but after contacting the cleaners, found that they had made an error.
The owner of the cleaning company herself drove immediately to the condo (at about 10pm) to change the bed linens, towels and quickly clean it up, and she stopped on the way to bring the tenants wine and cheese as a token of apology. She also came back the next morning after the tenants headed to the slopes, to re-clean and make certain that nothing had been missed.
We both offered our apology to the tenant and asked if they were all set for the remainder of their stay, and they said they were.
After their departure, I mailed the tenant's security check back to him, along with an apology card and a check for their cleaning fee (which has never been cashed). If he had felt that he deserved more, I would have happily discussed that with him. I remain apologetic for the mistake regarding the cleaning, but feel that I and the cleaners responded quickly and appropriately in the situation. We have had only rave reviews before this, and each year have many many return renters.
I welcome everyone to feel comfortable renting our condo. We are confident that you will love it and find it comfortable and clean!
