Boven de badplaats Uvita, midden in de natuur, rust en privacy zit een verborgen juweeltje. Deze ongewone Villa is hier voor een paar of persoon die wenst te verjongen terwijl u geniet van het gebied vrijwel onbeperkt plezier en avontuur. Weggestopt in een tropisch paradijs, deze Marokkaanse / Indiase stijl Villa heeft de sfeer van een klein paleis. Deze exclusieve villa is luxe, zeer comfortabel en ontworpen met een bijzonder oog voor detail. Ontworpen door ons (de eigenaren Paula en Marty) onze focus was naar een plaats van schoonheid die vorstelijke zou voelen en toch worden gewiegd in de bergen en de jungle, waar men kan beleven 'leven in de kunst en natuurlijke schoonheid op hetzelfde moment' te creëren.

De villa is allemaal handgemaakt en veel zorg ging in het creëren van het interieur ramen en veranda met bogen, allemaal uniek ontworpen met mooi lijstwerk. De mahonie Queen bed was ook op maat ontworpen en met de hand gesneden. De slaapkamer vloeren zijn mooi teak hout, zachte voeten. De 18ft gewelfde plafond wordt bekroond door een ongewone koepel, die zacht kan worden verlicht en is een genot om te staren naar liggend in bed. De badkamer is ruim en meestal steen en heeft een exotische oude gevoel. Terwijl de slaapkamer en badkamer zijn comfortabel vertoond in de veranda (woonkamer en gastronomische keuken) zijn nog open lucht bedekt en beschermd tegen regen. De villa heeft een aantal veelkleurige glas in lood Marokkaanse lampen en kaarsen het verbeteren van de reeds serene en romantische ambiance. De veranda vloer is geïmporteerd porselein tegels, de keuken heeft met de hand beschilderde wandtegels en tellers van de Costa Ricaanse kwarts steen. Beide kijken uit op uw 51ft zoutwaterzwembad dat bedekt is met doorzichtige stof zodat u altijd beschermd bent tegen de harde zonnestralen, maar de lucht en bomen duidelijk kunt zien. Het zwembad is betegeld met Italiaanse geïmporteerde glazen tegels en is zowel mooi om te zien en heerlijk om van te genieten. Het kan worden verlicht voor een avondje zwemmen onder de sterren. Het water is niet chemisch (zoutwater) en één voelt niet het zout. Het voelt schoon, fris en zacht aan. Het is voor uw exclusieve gebruik behalve 1 1/2 uur per dag wanneer de eigenaren het zwembad ,,,, altijd op een afgesproken tijd gebruiken, zodat u nooit gestoord wordt

Wanneer je dit privéreservaat betreedt stapt je een wereld van natuurlijke schoonheid binnen, waar je gewaarzijn verschuift terwijl je zintuigen verrukt zijn en gekalmeerd door de buitengewone schoonheid waarin je zult leven.

Deze 60 acre prive-eigendom heeft overvloedige wild leven en honderden bloeiende planten en fruit en palmbomen en kijkt uit over het grootste maritieme behouden in Midden-Amerika, Cano Island en The Whale's Tail rif (de derde grootste in de wereld). Inbegrepen zijn wandelpaden leiden tot een prachtig uitzicht op de Stille Oceaan en rustplaatsen waar u kunt stoppen om een glas wijn te genieten terwijl je de zon zien ondergaan.

De villa is gelegen in het midden van een tuin van tropische bloemen, bamboe en sculpturen en kijkt uit over uw persoonlijke 51 voet zoutwater zwembad, de Uvita River Valley, en de Talamanca bergen. Je wakker elke ochtend naar de geluiden van brulapen en vele soorten tropische vogels, (nog comfortabel vertoond in), en ontspannen in de avonden naar verre zachte ritmes van de branding.

Alleen wij, Marty en Paula delen deze eigenschap 60 acre met u. Wij zijn beschikbaar om u te helpen alles wat je nodig hebt tijdens uw verblijf te regelen. Hoewel gemakkelijk uit het zicht of het geluid kunnen ze altijd bereikbaar op uw voorzien walkie talkie.

Onze South Pacific Coast heeft diverse palmbomen omzoomde stranden met rustige wateren, alsmede stranden om te surfen en kajakken. Beschikbare reizen omvatten: walvissen en dolfijnen kijken, uitstapjes naar Cano Island, Drakes Bay en het schiereiland Osa, duiken, snorkelen, sportvissen, paardrijden door de jungle paden of op de stranden, canopy tours en waterval afstoten, zip line en nog veel meer. .

Romantic tropical adventure

Paula and Marty's villa is a slice of tropical heaven! They have created a peaceful retreat on top of this mountain, where you feel like you are the only one there, except for all the wildlife. They have done an incredible job in creating a relaxing, peaceful zen-like atmosphere and incorporating beautiful statues, art, and flowers into the tropical landscape. We spent 9 days in this paradise and loved staying in for the night, where we cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, and then just listen to the sound of the jungle in the outdoor living room, and cool off in the beautiful pool just a few steps away and watch the stars. There is a beautiful walk to the top of the mountain, where you can see the whole coastline and the Uvita whale tale. On the way up we were surrounded by butterflies, and the sounds of howler monkies (we never saw them but heard them every day) and saw countless birds including scarlet macaws, toucans, hummingbirds, hawks, you name it! There is also an easy walk to a waterfall just up the road. We truly enjoyed the adventure of the drive up the mountain in our 4x4 and saw something new every time. There are plenty of things to do in the area, and we visited a new beach almost every day, there are so many of them. Our favorite was Playa Piñuelas, where we would be the only ones on the beach, and also the little beach right behind Villa Leonore just south of Uvita. Paula and Marty were gracious hosts, easy to communicate with, and we enjoyed interacting with them. The bed was really comfortable with nice sheets, the bathroom, which is a piece of art in itself, was stocked with nice fluffy towels and a spa kit with fancy soaps. We have visited many places around the earth, and this is one we will come back to!

Tropical Paradise!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for five nights while exploring the beautiful natural world of Uvita and Osa Penninsula. The Pictures don't do this place justice! Marty and Paula paid incredible attention to detail when building the quite and cozy retreat. Beautiful sculptures and statues surround the property and are built into the design in some cases, like the buddah next to the shower in the bathroom. Also the lighting is really great here, most lights are on dimmers allowing you to really create the perfect mood, and there are plenty of candles outdoors as well. On a clear night the stars are just breathtaking. There is a short (15 - 20 min) hike to the top of the mountain here where you have incredible and absolutely private panoramic views of the sun setting over the ocean. Marty and Paula have even provided a table and bench at the lookout point in case you would like to pack a picnic or a bottle of wine for the top. We also really loved driving up the dirt road to and from the house. It is unlike anywhere we drive at home and really added to the experience and adventure. We hope to stay here again on our next visit! Enjoy your time in paradise!!

Beautiful but difficult to get to

The Villa is really beautiful. We loved all the design elements and little details that Paula and Marty so lovingly selected. And the pool is absolutely awesome. We spent quite a bit of time around the pool, in large part because we found it so difficult to get up and down the mountain. We had a 4WD but the road was a mess.That also meant that we cooked in almost every night, which was fine (we got some fantastic tuna at the farmer's market on Saturday), although it would have been a bit easier with a sharp knife. Paula and Marty were very helpful, but we would have preferred if they didn't straighten up our stuff every time they came up for a swim. They were very considerate about when they came, but it felt sort of like we were being watched over by mom and dad.

Heaven in the Jungle

Where do I begin!! From the moment we arrived in the country (even months before when all the planning took place!), Paula and Marty were there for us every step of the way. It was our first time visiting another country, and for our wedding no less! We got married at Nauyaca Waterfalls, which are only about 30 min away (It was a DREAM!!). As we drove up the road to our temporary home we were blown away by the surrounding jungle. The drive was a lot of fun! Safe, but make sure you have a 4x4 with decent ground clearance. We fell in love with the Villa right away, from the many birds that visit you every day, to the geckos chirping away merrily every evening (my fav part!!). I have never felt more at peace, and at home. We loved the mix of outdoors and indoors, and even indoors felt like we were part of the jungle. The property is so beautiful, there is so much to explore, I only wish we had longer to do so! We were blessed to experience a family of howler monkeys playing in the trees on one of our hikes- A tip: Really take your time to look at everything in silence and the jungle will come alive! There are many waterfalls to discover, Uvita is truly magical. Make sure to check out Playa Ventanas, it is on private property (has security watching the parking area) and just outside of the town, is absolutely gorgeous and not to be missed. Also make sure to visit the bus depot cafe, Marty was kind enough to aware of this cheap and delicious place! I'm sure I amused the very friendly and helpful workers there as we returned many times. They were very patient as we stumbled with our Spanish. (The fried chicken and rice are amazing!) Paula and Marty are very special people, they genuinely care about their home and their guests. They were always there when needed, we felt safe and well looked after. Leaving was the hardest thing I've had to do! A piece of my heart was left behind, I can only hope we return one day. Thank you Paula and Marty, from the bottom our hearts, for making this the trip of a lifetime that we will never forget! You made the most special moment of our lives all the more special...

A Costa Rica Gem...

We've been grateful to visit many places around the globe, but it's still a thrilling surprise to find a place crafted and decorated with such care and inspiration. The owners are gracious and exceptionally accommodating, the setting is gorgeous, and the villa is nothing less than extraordinary. Yes, a 4X4 is a MUST; but that simply goes with the territory (side road in Costa Rica hills). Easy access to three entirely charming towns. Uvita has a great farmers market, not one but two supermarkets, a great coffee shop/restaurant, and others besides. Ojochal is home to some extraordinary restaurants. And Dominical has some brilliant places to eat and shop at and see. Gorgeous wildlife and countryside all around. We stayed at this Villa hoping to have a wonderful and rejuvenating holiday. It was indeed that; a truly exceptional place and setting.
