We had a great time. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 small children. Loved the fishing dock, screened porch, and swimming pool. We didn't understand the light switches, but the lamps worked. The showers we're great. We'd stay there again.

Great location.. Nice and quiet.. Home needs some attention.. Hot water isn't hot in Master or other added bathroom... Pool leaks and has to be filled everyday. Hot tub doesn't work.. Pool table has been flooded. The kitchen is stocked very well... Lots of towels n extra linens.. The dock is wobbly at one end. Overall a cool place just needs some love.

Hot tub not working but like the place will rent again next year

We had a wonderful time in this house with my family of 4 and my sister's family of 4. It is in a great location, with a beautiful view. We loved the private pool and seeing all the iguanas near the property. We saw so much wildlife this week! The pelicans are a joy to watch and we were even visited by a dolphin one evening! Having the kayaks included is a plus, we enjoyed them everyday. Our kids enjoyed snorkeling right off the dock, but we did see jellyfish that came in at certain times of day. They wore dive skins to protect themselves and had a blast. There are lots of small fish that come by - but one day we saw a school of parrot fish and the last day we saw a tarpon! Lots of sea turtles out in the bay too.

The house itself needs attention - you can tell this is a rental and shows some signs of wear. There were two holes punched in the wall, the blinds were broken on some of the windows, and a lot of the doors didn't work right. The hot tub did not work or heat up for our entire stay. The grill was out of gas but the owners did refill the propane for us that day when we called. I would have appreciated a manual from the owners telling us how to work the TV, cable, recommended things to do in the area, etc. We never figured out the DVD player. The two bedrooms share one of the bathrooms, with doors on either side divided by a common shower - quite odd - and this gave no privacy and was unfortunate. The vents were not working in two of three bathrooms. The bedroom with the double bed had a very loud fan that came on every so often. However, beautiful master bathroom with HUGE shower and very nice large TV in the main living area. Lots of plates, dishes, and silverware! You will have to provide everything - such as toilet paper, soap, garbage bags, foil, dish tabs, laundry soap, etc as none of that is provided.

In the area, just a short drive away is the convenience of grocery stores, beautiful Sombrero Beach, which I found prettier than Bahia Honda, and loved eating at Sunset Grill and the Island Fish Company, all on Marathon.

The house was very clean and had everything needed to make us feel at home. Well stocked with dishes and everything else we needed for our stay. The pool was great. Everyone had a blast in the kayaks in the nice lagoon. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to rent. We are looking forward to staying here again next year. Perfect place for the perfect vacatio .
