Casita Amelia heeft een zonnig, welkom-to-santa-fe houding. Het toont net buiten zijn blij natuur het moment dat je door de deur loopt. Onze Casita is prachtig handgemaakt, slaapt zes comfortabel en het is schoon !!!!! Je zal op 6 straten van het pittoreske Santa Fe Plaza ... een kort uitstapje naar de Railyard en Farmer's Market ... een paar blokken verwijderd van onze steden favoriete restaurants, en, maar u kunt nog steeds rusten je hoofd elke nacht in een wijk dat is vriendelijk en rustig.
Er zijn twee slaapkamers en een balkon boven dat vier slapen. De slaapbank beneden zal een extra twee volwassenen slapen. Handdoek's, bladen, volledig uitgeruste keuken met koffiezetapparaat, magnetron, gasfornuis, en koelkast, zal zorgen voor uw culinaire wensen. Er zijn zoveel prachtige dingen om te doen in Santa Fe, dat u zult begrijpen dat dit juweeltje van een 'thuisbasis' om elke dag te hergroeperen. Nu verder gaan met leven, en reserveer uw plek!
Enjoyed our 5 day stay at the casita visiting our son from Colorado. Easy walk to the Plaza where there was usually something interesting going on in the square. Brought our golf clubs and bikes and used them both. Marty Sanchez golf course had great views and was well priced and there was a wonderful bike trail starting at the train depot about a mile or so from the casita. Best to ask directions on how to navigate the one busy and confusing intersection on this trail. Would definitely stay here again. Bill, Mary (Kansas City) & Pat (Telluride)
This is the perfect place to stay in Santa Fe. It is VERY clean and beautiful decor. The outdoor patio was a plus for relaxing before and after riding the Santa Fe Century bike ride. The owners have provided everything you need for a vacation get away. We will stay again.
Nice and everything you need for a perfect holiday. Houseowners are very friendly and helpfull. The house is on a great walking Location from the plaza, shops and restaurants. Defenitly will go back!
We had a great vacation for 15 nights at Casita Amelia. This is a two storied townhouse which has the ambiance of the area in its architecture and interior design. The first day we had a trickle of water from the shower and the one of the master bathroom sinks. I contacted Fred who had a local plumber get in touch with me and set up an appointment. Within the next 24 hours he came. He was great and after a couple of hours of unplugging the pipes that were full of silt everything was fixed. It might be a good idea to put filters on each of the fixtures to aleviate this problem. We were very fortunate to arrive for "restaurant week" in Santa Fe. Most restaurants had a set two course lunch menu for $10.50 per person or a three course dinner menu for $40.00 per person although some were $30.00. Needless to say we had wonderful meals! The Compound is by far our favorite whether it be for lunch or dinner. Cafe Pasqual, authentic Southwestern food with great murals and decorations. La Casa Sena and el farol (great paella) as well as the Teahouse at any time of the day you want to take a break from galleries or shopping. A romantic, elegant restaurant the pink adobe is one we always go back to year by year. We took a number of day trips which were a wonderful way to explore. Los Alamos and the Bradbury Science museum are a must. White Rock lookout lets you see and hear the Rio Grand river in all its splendor. The Bandelier National Monument is great to explore especially the ancient cliff dwellings! A day south to Madrid is interesting. Here we have galleries and a town with an interesting past. From a coal mine to a ghost town to a reinvention of itself. Our favorite trip was to Abiquiu. its lake and Ghost Ranch. Wonderful shopping for art works at The Torres Gallery and 225 Canyon Road, and visit Diva's near the plazza for fine jewellery. Suggestion,a HD TV would be great downstairs for watching Downton Abbey when its time to chill out!

I hate to give this place a good review because if it is discovered it will be so popular that it will never be available. The location is great for those who want to walk into the center of town or to the convention center. You have shopping close and some of the best restaurants are also in walking distance. All that said it is quiet and safe. The house itself is beautiful - decorated in Santa Fe style with outstanding decorative features. It has all the conveniences of home but it is in Santa Fe. The owner is easy to work with. This is my second time to stay in this house and I am sure it will not be my last.
We are from the UK and have been coming to Santa Fe every summer for the past nine years for opera and as part of a road trip around the Western US. This casita suited our needs perfectly and was ideally located just a short walk from the delights of Santa Fe - and it was the 'right' side of town for driving to the opera! Because the place was screened, we were able to sleep with the balcony door open. The casita was clean and excellently equipped. We ate Wholefoods ready prepared food some of the time and apart from that we ate at the opera and once at Santacafe, which we would recommend. Having battled to get the car into the garage (and moved some of the bins etc in the garage!) we read that parking up the hill was fine, so we parked there for our ten day stay. We enjoyed having the place to ourselves with so much space, but another couple sharing with us would have worked ok - although there is only one bathroom, but accessed from a bedroom and the landing. Alan Ackbourn's play 'Bedroom Farce' came to my mind!
