Cayman on the Beach - Kaibo jachtclub fase 1

Onze luxe Niet roken Parterre appartement is gelegen in een tropisch paradijs aan de oevers van de Cayman Kai, in de exclusieve Rum Point gebied van Grand Cayman. Zeventien voeten van glazen deuren kijken uit op het water. Loop rechts uit uw achterdeur en je bent op het strand. Niet de drukke strand aan de toeristische kant van het eiland, maar een rustig toevluchtsoord om te ontspannen en tot rust nog dicht bij de activiteit van de lokale Kaibo Yacht Club beach bar en restaurant. Het is een korte rit (het eiland is slechts 20 mijl lang) naar de stad en een onbeperkt aantal activiteiten en toeristische avonturen.
Parkeer uw stoel onder de palmbomen of rieten dak tuinhuisje en ontspannen in de zachte zeewind. Dit is een klein complex van 20 appartementen -5 gebouwen van 4 eenheden elk delen meer dan 300 voet van privéstrand. Er is een zwembad en spa ook. Een perfecte plek voor koppels en gezinnen. Fase 1 is niet ouder - het is slechts een jaar ouder is dan fase twee appartementen !!!! Beide gebouwd naar Florida orkaan normen

Perfect family-friendly getaway

We loved our stay at this condo! The location is exceptional. Communication with the owners was excellent, the condo was just as described, and is completely stocked and comfortable for a family with young kids. We would absolutely rent this condo again. Thank you, Anita!

Great condo in a great location

We had a great time. The location is convenient for many different outings including Rum Point beach, Starfish Point, and various boat trips right from the dock at the resort. The host was very accommodating and the condo is very well stocked.

Quiet Side

Condo was easy to find and parking was plentiful. Starfish Point is a very quiet part of the island even next to the Kaibo Yacht Club (condo is about 50 yards down the beach). While you could hear the music (especially the bass!), we never felt it was intrusive. It also led to some great "people watching" as people were ferried over from Seven Mile Beach for dinner at the Yacht club. The condo itself was very well equipped with dishes, pots and plenty of spices as well as extra food stuff such as coffee,btea, pasta of all sorts, oatmeal, popcorn, etc. A warning though, this is a sand, beach, water and relax area. There is no night life, activities, etc. available and limited restaurant choices without a car. For us, that is our kind of place and why we chose Starfish Point. Furniture was nice and beds comfortable. Wifi and TV are available and wifi extends out to the beach. There were lots of lounges and chairs available on the beach. There was no sargassum which was great. For beginning snorkelers (and advanced for the picture taking) there were hundreds of fish to see in about 3 feet of water about 10 yards from the condo so even kids could safely swim in an 'aquarium'. There are plenty of starfish to see!! I also saw a small stingray and a small barracuda. There is a large modern supermarket between the airport and the condo (Hurleys) and a small store (Chisholms) about 10 minutes from the condo. There is a very nice pool and spa available just a few feet away but not close enough to be bothered by activities in the pool. Communication with the owner and manager was easy and we experienced no problems in our two week stay. One caveat, bring mosquito repellent (but they also have a supply if you forget!) as there are times when they can be bad as with any place in the islands.

We are both retired firefighters who enjoy to travel. We have been involved in real estate ownership, development, building and management for over 40 years. We are also avid scuba divers and snorkelers. Grand Cayman offers a great mix of all of these loves. It also gives us a second home to escape to for part of the winter after the holidays with our kids and 'gaggle' of grandkids. We call Elk Grove (near Sacramento) home as do all of our kids. We love our time here by ourselves and with family. We have found all seasons to be great here in Cayman.

WHY DID WE CHOOSEE KAIBO !!!??? We are a family owned business who visit Grand Cayman often and wanted a place we could truly call a home away from home. One we could enjoy and share with others at an affordable price. Before buying this condo we looked at property all over the island and loving the rum point area decided this condo is the perfect setting to enjoy the island. We are sure you will enjoy your stay here and be as anxious to return to Cayman Islands as we always are.

This IS our second home - we spend 1/4-1/3 of the year here - so our condo has the extra amenities that make staying here easy and nice. Our condo is VERY kid friendly.We only ask that you take care of the condo as if it was your home too!!
