My family and I had a wonderful time at this townhouse! It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There were seven of us and we had plenty of room. Helen was very accommodating and was always available to answer any questions that we may have had. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you again Helen!

Excellent host - house could use some work

First of all, I want to start by saying this was my first experience with Homeaway and I want to commend our contact for her excellent customer service. She gave thorough instructions on the logistics of travel and entering the house because she wasn't going to be there with the key. We had smooth entry.

The location is great and it was great to go when there was good weather. There are areas to hike. It's close to the Delaware water gap for white water rafting. It's also next to a ski mountain.

There were 4 total rooms. There were 2 private rooms with a door, 1 room with bunk beds, and one room on the bottom floor that wasn't closed off. There was a living room, and a small balcony. The living room has a fireplace, and they have a grill in the back on the patio/balcony. Trash removal is at the bottom of the mountain so it requires some planning.

Unfortunately, I am removing one star due to some of the facilities being old. For example, the knife drawer was broken. Also, the shower on the top floor doesn't work properly. There is no easy way to shower. It was either burning hot or freezing cold. The knob wasn't functioning well.

Also for our stay, we had to bring a lot of every day logistic items such as toiletries, TP, aluminum foil, cooking oil, cleaning supplies, dishwashing soap and sponge, etc. It would have been easier to know what we had to bring ahead of time instead of buying it after we arrived. Also, they have a gas grill so confirm ahead of time if they have propane for the tank in case you want to grill. Also, the on site facilities were sub par. The pool room smelled too strongly of chlorine and didn't have decent ventilation. The basketball "court" has one hoop. They do have a nice indoor and outdoor tennis court though.

Overall, I would recommend this house for a future stay. If there are any questions or concerns, you can always address them with Ellen and I'm sure she will do her best to accommodate.

Reactie van de eigenaar Thank you for the review guest need to remember you are renting a private home so such as toiletries you are responsible for your daily needs all guest as started out with some dishwasher products dish towels lots of dishes and small appliances etc also tp and paper towels a small amount of cleaning products are supplied due to the nature of some guests which feel a need to take things home we cant always know what will be left in the house for this I am sorry I try very hard to supply everyone with extra items fort heir needs the gas grill is complimentary I try to explain I have no control over the gas for the grill some people forget to turn it off if I get a call I always offer to pay for a new tank of gas the 4 bedroom 3 bathrooms is much cheaper than a hotel which may supply soap and a few toiletries our homes provide much more such as the ability to cook 3 meals a day if you choose lots of space fabulous views and lots of comforts We try very hard to make everyone stay very comfortable I enjoy our guests .And 99 per cent of our reviews are great I very much appreciate constructive thoughts and will do anything to correct any thing I can to make things better Thank you Helen

The home was amazing. It was very well maintained and provided all the comforts of home. Our guests had a wonderful time and enjoyed the views from the home. The owner is absolutely wonderful and made the booking process simple and easy. The location of the home is nearby many attractions including waterparks, paintballing, shopping outlets and a brewery. Would love to come back!

Our family spent the 4th of July weekend here to get a much needed getaway rest after a very stressful month. The property was easy to get to, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We didn't get out of the house much. It was very peaceful and enjoyed the view from the living room. The tall trees were blocking a portion of the view but none the less very soothing. The only issue was that there is no bathroom on the main floor so was a little inconvenient for my 76 years old mom. Also, we weren't able to invite my in-laws due to stairs. My 3 young adult children loved it. It was close to the outlet mall, Camelbeach, and Camelbach Adventures. The owner was easy to get in touch with and she was flexible with check-in and check-out time. Overall, it was a nice getaway stay for my family.
