The Park Room is situated at the front of the house on the ground floor and has views over the Oosterpark. The room is cosy and elegant, in an authentic IXIth century style with a high decorated ceiling and black marble mantelpiece. The room evokes the atmosphere of the past, but you will find every modern comfort and convenience: air conditioning, satellite-tv, free wifi, a laptop with printer, DVD-player, minicooler, microwave, and so on. The room has ‘en suite’ a bathroom with shower, wash-hand basin and WC.
Our rooms are equipped with airconditioning, free wifi, laptop, printer, satellite tv, dvd, fridge, very confortable beds (boxspring with foam tops), 'en suite' bathrooms, coffee/tea corner, microwave, table with chairs, etc. They are part of a large gentlementshouse, built in 1892 opposite the Oosterpark. The house is well preserved in its original style.

We are Martijne and Bernard Neuhaus. We enjoy travelling very much and always take bed & breakfast on our trips, as this is the nicest way to meet people and get the best possible personal care. When we started our own B&B in 2006, we used that experience to make good service our top priority.
Martijne is a porcelain painter and has a small workshop at the top of the building. Bernard runs his film production company from the second floor.
Stayed one week. Loved Amsterdam, even with gray skies, wind, and rain. Nice neighborhood with several restaurant options. Very interesting and helpful hosts. Breakfast was enough to cover lunch. Easy access to tram to go everywhere. Room small but comfortable.
Parkzijde B&B is in a great location for a weekend trip to Amsterdam. It is located slightly outside the city center in a quiet neighborhood across from a green and spacious park. My wife and I appreciated how well-connected the location was to public transport, including the main train lines. Furthermore, if you don't want to travel into downtown, there is a great restaurant and bar area nearby where you can blend in with the locals.
Martijne and Bernard were very nice and welcoming. We were not in the room much, but we appreciated their hospitality and breakfasts nevertheless. I would especially recommend Parkzijde B&B for couples on short weekend trips who want to see the city but stay in a more quiet and comfortable setting than downtown.
Our sixth stay and hopefully not the last.
It is a very spacious, comfortable room with a substantial and varied breakfast. The hosts are lovely and provide everything you could possibly need even down to a laptop and printer to ease the check in process!
