Such a lovelt littke lodge, peaceful, and such a lovely friendly couple. We stayed for 2 nights, the use of the hottub just adds that extra touch too the break away. Will definatly be booking to stay again shortly

Came here for a a couple days to get away from the day to day life. When we got there we met with the owner and she was very welcoming and showed us the ropes. After that we were left to relax and enjoy the lovely cabin and surrounding garden. We didn't utilise the jacuzzi as we forgot our swimming gear but it looked lovely and private. There's lots to do in surrounding area. Plenty of walks and pubs. All in all we had a brilliant weekend and would deffo recommend to friends and family. Thanks again.

We had a lovely new year staying in the lodge!
Jules and John were very welcoming and helpful. They would message us to make sure everything was going okay and if we needed anything.
The garden and patio areas were very nice and relaxing!
The use of the hot tub was a great little extra to help us unwind.
The only points that we felt would have made the stay perfect, would be WiFi. We struggled to get strong phone signal so WiFi would’ve been handy.
The last point would be the bed, it was a bit short and a little squeaky even when turning over.
Overall the place was quaint and homely. We had a lovely stay and like I said Jules and John were very helpful!
Would highly recommend if you want a quiet getaway!

Thanks for your feedback. The bed will be looked at as it may need tightening, however we can't do anything about the size as it is a standard double bed and if we purchased a bigger bed it would not fit comfortably in the room. We do state in the amenities that we do not have WiFi as we try to keep the costs reasonable and have often been told we are too cheap for the standards and amenities we do offer. We also do not charge any extra for prime dates like Christmas and New Year etc unlike most other establishments, so do still think people get value for money even without access to Wifi. Many thanks for your comments and will definitely look at the squeaky bed.

Lovely location, the lodge itself is very spacious with everything you need and having the hot tub was awesome! The owners are lovely and very helpful, We would 100% stay again due to the amazing pricing and what is included.
