WITTE PAREL Lausanne

We stayed at White Pearl in October 2019. The apartment is as described, clean and comfortable for 3 people. Check-in process was easy, everything in the apartment worked well (fast internet and lots of TV channels in all languages).

NOTE: parking is not included and is available on the street (mostly just a few steps up the street in a square by the municipal building). It is free at night 8pm-8am and paid (3CHF/hour) with a maximum of 2 hours during the day. This is very inconvenient as for us parking was a very important criterion in my search. We had no trouble finding a spot at night, however as I waited for 8 pm one evening (rather than feeding more money to the parking meter), all spots in the square were full. At the time of our visit there was construction / road work in the next street and so most of the spots on that street were not available. The listing is misleading as it indicates that parking is available and included.

When I asked (more than once) about parking and later checkout procedure, we received no response from the owner. This is the main issue for me, however overall our stay was very pleasant.
