Tolle zentrale Unterkunft für 6 Personen

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Apartment ist ein paar Minuten zu Fuß von der U-Bahn Station entfernt. Gleich um die Ecke gibt es Pubs, Supermärkte und alles was man braucht.

Wir waren zu 8. in diesem Apartment. Mir wurde vom Vermieter im Vorhinein mitgeteilt, dass ohne Probleme 2 Erwachsene auf der Sofa schlafen könnten. Das ist leider nicht so. Maximal 1 Kind könnte dort schlafen. Daher mussten wir leider improvisieren. Ansonsten hat mit dem Vermieter alles gut funktioniert. Würden auf jeden Fall nochmals hinfahren. Nur mit weniger Personen.

Good location for larger family touring London

A good value for what you get in terms of accommodations and location. The property is 7 minutes walk to the tube stop and you can be in central London in 30 minutes from the doorstep. The apartment has been recently refurbished and is clean with everything you need. Groceries are only a 5 min walk away. The owners are communicative and good to work with. It was cold outside and the heaters worked great. This scenario helped to abate the humidity from showers, etc. Our family made some great memories here and would recommend it if you have 5 to 7 people in your party and what something convenient to city center.

Spacious apartment good for large group or family, clean, good management

Overall a positive experience. Stayed here for a week with 7 total persons.

Pros: 3 full bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 with shower, one with tub)--privacy for all and relatively quiet.

Beds generally comfortable. Sheets clean.

Location is close to London center but perhaps a bit further than ideal. Tube station within a few minutes walk and to central London via tube about 12 minutes.

Sainsbury's and Tesco close by for convenient self-catering. Saves money!

Several restaurants and shops at Kilburn station. Found Kilburn more convenient than Queen's Park station.

Most necessary items in kitchen (see below) and washer and dryer on premises. We did our towels ourselves a few times during the week. No problem with washer--it is European so takes longer than US one but that is typical (and probably gets stuff cleaner).

Pull out couch in living room, ok for one person (in our case a teenager). Not really large enough for 2 unless they are smaller kids.

Despite being at ground level (lower flat), decent amount of light.

Prompt and helpful owner, met us within a few minutes of arrival and no problem with keys etc. Responsive also to texts/phone. Security deposit promptly returned.

Apartment has heat, although in August we didn't need it.

Neighbors generally quiet. Apartment felt safe, double locks on front door and also locks on windows.

Cons: Neighborhood a bit run down and a little further away from center than some might want. We don't care about nightlife so it didn't affect us, but if you are looking for that, it is rare near this place.

As apartment is lower level (and in England), it is damp, so hard to dry clothes and towels without use of the dryer.

Toaster does not stay down so have to hold the lever the duration of the toast cycle.

We couldn't figure out the TV or DVD player well. There didn't seem to be cable, and weak connection to stations via air. We spent most of our time sightseeing anyway but getting a bit of news would have been welcome a few times.

Wifi is weak signal. Only one device at a time at best.

At end of stay we vacuumed and stripped beds/sheets and tidied up kitchen. No requirement to clean bathrooms.

Overall a fine place with no issues with owner, who was helpful and nice. A few small improvements as mentioned. Good for large family or group! Recommend!

Nice but with a bit of inconvenience

There are quite a few positive aspects: The flat has a good and quiet location, with supermarkets and restos nearby. It has a modern look and is very clean. On the other hand we've had some unpleansant experiences: It took us some phone calls to get into the apartment before 7 pm and some things were broken (or missing) like a toaster and some light bulbs that didn't work or a window in one of the bedrooms that went open only after some struggle at midnight. Unfortunately, the flat is not free from mildew around some of the windows, which makes it absolutely necessary to be able to open them.

So all in all: If it was a little better maintained, it would be a great place.

Very favorable, great value.

Nice quiet location, groceries and restaurants close by, short walk to the Kilburn underground station.

Great apartment value, especially considering three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer for laundry, and wi-fi.

I feel I made a great choice with this unit.

Highly recommend this rental and property owner!

This apartment was very nice and in the perfect location. There are many choices of restaurants within walking distance. Also it is very close to the underground train which was perfect for getting around the city. The property manager was prompt and helpful and I would definitely recommend this place to others.
