Pleasantly Quirky
Nicely tucked away from the frenetic souks, we described it as an oasis. Not the the most imaginatively named but appropriate. Communal area was full of plants with a fountain in the middle. The balconies were full of rustic table and chairs. Our room was in one secluded corner entered by a picturesque courtyard. The interior was in theme but with air con a large comfortable bed, a TV with no UK channels. The bathroom had a bath, separate shower and enclosed toilet. We had bathrobes but bath towels had to be requested.. We think that breakfast was traditional with pastries, orange juice and plenty of tea and coffee. Omelettes were available on request. We had dinner on two nights. It was pleasant but not outstanding.
The staff need to be complimented. They were friendly, helpful and Ayub and the other english speaking 'waiter' whose name escapes us, could not have done more.
The entrance to the souks was a brief stroll away and attractions (Katoubian Mosque etc) were within walking distance. We did find the Hop on Hop Off bus useful.
Just one negative, La Ferme does not have any sunbathing areas for those who love to worship that illustrious star.
