Appartement met een unieke locatie in het hart van Taormina, tussen de Corso Umberto en Piazza San Domenico. Haar eigen terras bieden een onovertroffen panoramisch uitzicht.
Het appartement heeft een grote woonkamer met eettafel, een tweepersoonskamer, een eenpersoonskamer, een badkamer met douche, een volledig uitgeruste keuken en een eigen terras op de bovenste verdieping (trap vanuit de aprtment naar het terras worden gedeeld). De grote en lichte kamers bieden een mooi uitzicht op de charmante straatjes Welke Dolce & Gabbana gevierd in hun reclamecampagnes.
Het bovenste terras heeft een solarium en een tafel met een paraplu zon, wat ideaal is voor open-air diners.
Het appartement is in een zeer centrale ligging. Het lopen van een paar minuten langs de boetieks en antiekwinkels in de Corso Umberto bereikt u Piazza IX Aprile, het Griekse theater, de kabelbaan naar seaside Mazzarò en Isola Bella.
Het pand is te huur in de zin van de Italiaanse wet n. 438/1998.

The San Domenico appartment was really lovely and in a great location. I particularly loved the terrace which offered stunning views of the sea and the hillside behind. It was a delight to have either breakfast, lunch or dinner there and especially nice to sit out in the warm evenings and have dinner as the sun was just setting. Everything was on your doorstep and within easy reach whether that be for the supermarket, ice cream, wine, designer shops, restaurants or bars - the choice was endless.
Taormina is very beautiful and the flat just emphasised that.

The apartment was perfectly placed for accessing all Taormina has to offer. We struggled to master the hot water system but other than that, everything we needed was available. Having said that I feel the apartment is overpriced - it was expensive for what it it was. The single bedroom in particular had very limited space with virtually no storage.
Thank you so much for this wonderful stay. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy Taormina in a more low key fashion. All the restaurants are in close proximity, 5 min walk to the Gardens. Beautiful view from the top deck.

The property was nice but didn't quite meet our expectations for view and was quite noisy at night. The local manager was outstanding in that she met us in town and helped us get settled in the apartment. During our initial meeting, she shared pamphlets and recommendations about the village of Taormina as well as some tips about Sicily tours. The apartment is quite comfortable and well equipped. Love the king size bed! The overall condition of the property was relatively standard although the kitchen pots and pans could use a refresh. The restaurant two levels below the property is quite noisy until very late hours and we recommend ear plugs and use of the portable fan to drown out noise. The upper level deck was nice but the weather didn't cooperate for spending any time enjoying the view. Again, the Mediterranean view is somewhat limited as this apartment is located behind the penthouse which has the front facing view from both their quarters and the rooftop deck. The price was reasonable and we loved the location in town for access to shops and local hikes.
We spent 7 nights at the property, and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The apartment itself is lovely - there were 3 of us (including our 7 year old son) and so having a room for him was great and it was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Fully equipped - the beds were really comfortable (and the master was large) with air conditioning/heating in the main living area and the master bedroom. The shower was amazing - nice and powerful and hot. Lots of windows to allow natural light and air into the property. Wifi suitable for use with Netflix and other streaming services =D
Location wise it was perfect - right next to the main pedestrian street in Taromina off which are all of the bars, cafes and shops. We were slightly concerned that being next to the main street and also right next to the church could have regular bell ringing and noise - but actually it was very quiet, and the church only occasionally rang its bells (ie not hourly). So that was great!
We think we were one of the first to be in the apartment after the winter season, so it was a little stuffy and felt damp when we arrived. But we opened all the windows letting lots of air and sunlight into the property, and at night could use the aircon/de-humidifier or left the windows open when warm enough etc and this solved that problem.
We didn't have a car, and the owner helped to organize a taxi to pick us up from the airport and take us to the apartment. This worked really well. The sun terrace is lovely - private space which we used every day for eating outside. Really lovely views.
Without a car, we made use of the bus services - initially the City-By-See www.citybysee.com open bus tour and then the public busses to go and visit the nearby beaches and attractions. We also went on a 4x4 tour of Mount Etna with the company Go-Etna (https://www.go-etna.com/) which we highly recommend. It was an excellent half day trip that we all enjoyed.
Food wise - the restaurants in Taromina are expensive, and we had mixed success with restaurants. Some were pretty poor, but others were nice. We did end up cooking in the apartment several nights which we really enjoyed - as we could eat outside and enjoy private views! The supermarket was only a few mins walk from apartment. We did find C&G Cioccolato E Gelato just a few minutes walk from the apartment which was EXCELLENT for cakes and ice creams. And also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Nothing is due for bed and bath linens because it is the normal outfit of the house.
Due to their small amount, the cost for water, gas and electricity are remitted. The Renter will pay only for the electricity used over 10Kwh per day at the cost of 0,20 euros per kwh and only for the water consumed over 1cubic meters per day at a cost of 10,00 (ten) euros per cubic meter.
The additional cost for heating in winter time is € 10,00 per day
The rental price doesn’t include food, beverage, home cleaning products, personal care products etc.
