Dit prachtige rivier appartement bevindt zich in de veilige gated ontwikkeling in Lee Valley in Bow, naast de rivier de Lea. Het appartement ligt op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het DLR (zone 2), 20 minuten van Stratford International station en 10 minuten van Hackney station.
Voor winkels heeft u ruime keuze op slechts 20 minuten lopen van Westfield het grootste winkelcentrum van Europa, met zijn winkels, restaurants, een bioscoop, een bowlingbaan, en Aspers Casino.
Omdat naast de rivier Lea en het Olympic Park en Stadion (je kunt niet dichterbij te komen), en met een adembenemend uitzicht, het is moeilijk te geloven dat we in Londen zijn zoals je ziet aken autorijden langs de rivier en eenden zwemmen en mensen vissen langs de rivier.
Het appartement heeft een grote open woonkamer met kamerhoge ramen waardoor je naar het Olympisch Park en Stadion en Stratford zien.
Gedurende de dag vanaf het balkon kunt u de groene weg en de skyline van Londen City en Stratford te zien, 's nachts wanneer alles verlicht is een andere kant van Londen straalt.
Zodra u al uw Londen sightseeing gedaan hebt of gewoon even tot rust wilt ontspannen kunt of ga naar de sportschool of zwemmen heeft u toegang tot het Olympisch zwembad en een fitnessruimte hebben. Als u wilt fietsen dan kunt u dit doen in het Lee Valley VeloPark ofwel fietsen de op hetzelfde spoor als de Olympische sporters of probeer het BMX-parcours.
Je kunt ook gewoon gaan zitten en te lezen in de gemeenschappelijke tuinen of in het Olympic Park.
Londen ligt op slechts enkele minuten rijden met de bus, metro, trein of zelfs de beroemde Boris fietsen.

We travelled with two electrical wheel-chairs and at all 5 persons, which means that we needed really lots of usable space, and here we found that.
The rooms are all big enough, the kitchen is only a wall and lets place to live. One bath was even big enough to use.
Everything we needed was there, everything as clean and as prepared as we expected. The appartment holds whatever is offered, there was no reason to complain. Contact with the owners was very friendly and easy.
The two lifts in the building moved like they should, there is definitely no stairs or whatever could disturb, we had a great parking lot in the gated zone and the neighbours were nice and calm.
The surrounding was even better than expected: a nice growing cultural scene, Olympic park with a good new way to Westfield Shopping mall and station (I preferred the way to Pudding MIll Lane), but also the nearby Victoria Park. I also recommend Roman Road, it gives a beautiful contrast to all that and the City.
If coming back to London I hope the appartment is still to rent.
Communication with the owners and the welcome/check-in was great. Very spacious apartment, fantastic view. Location was good for our needs. Former industrial area being redeveloped, so you have to consider this in terms of what you expect to see. We honestly didn't spend much time in the immediate vicinity, so hard to really comment on the shops/restaurants/etc., but certainly no worries about safety and such. The train stations are walkable 10+ minutes, bus stop < 5min. Westfield shopping center is a longer walk, but doable. We had a rental car so we used that instead. Would stay here again.
This appartement is really great. A lot of space, completely equipped and with auf great view in the river and the Olympic Stadium. The next station is only a few walking minutes away. Last but not least the friendlyness of the hosts is really great. They supported us with every question we had. I would really recommend this appartement to everybody who wants to feel like at home. Great place to stay. Very good views of the canal and Olympic park. Close to shops and transport. Westfield shopping centre 10 minutes walking thru Olympic park. Stratford rail and tube same distance. Hackney even closer. Also close to motorway. Heaps of restaurants eg Jamie Olivers Italian. Would recommend it as the transport options were good for us. The owners were most obliging.
I would highly recommend this lovely apartment to anyone who needs to be in London but wants to be able to shut themselves off from the hurly-burly of the capital. The showpiece is the dazzlingly bright living/dining room. Perched at the top of the apartment block, it has extensive views of the Olympic stadium and its surroundings, where canal barges navigate through a lock and remnants of the old East End sit oddly amid the headlong development. There is a chaise longue in front of the picture window, a ringside seat on the cinema unfolding before you. The apartment is well equipped, with wifi, on-demand TV and netflix, and there is plenty of room to seat 6 around the dining table. On the downside, one of the building's two elevators is out of order and the other one is unreliable and needs some maintenance. It's probably best to have a car if you are staying here (there is a parking space available). There are several rail stations nearby, but none is less than 10-15 minutes walk away, and the nearest supermarket is a good 20 minutes walk.
I decided to surprise my wife with a week in London as an anniversary present. The location was just right for West End shopping and the new Westfield shopping in Stratford.
We came from Birmingham by train and it was nice to spend a week in London. We didn't realise that secure parking was included as parking tends to be expensive in London, we will bring the car next time, we used the local transport with stations only a few minutes walk.
In the evening we watched the swans in the river below and the barges going through the lock and at night the views from the flat are lovely.
Thank you for giving us an unforgettable week we will come back in a few years.
