This property was absolutely perfect for our corporate retreat! 9 of us representing Lavender Hill Farm in Northern Michigan traveled from Michigan, New York, and Texas.

We were able to utilize the expanse of the house for large group meetings at the beautiful dinning room table and small group meeting on the porches, in the living room, and/or in the family room. Incidentally the furniture throughout the home was comfortable.

Having a variety of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our guests was key to keeping our group comfortable and well rested. Also, the bathrooms & linens were clean and both were well stocked. One funny story was three of us could not figure out how to get the water to transfer from the faucet to the shower head, yet one of our guests came to the rescue. Maybe it's Southern plumbing:)

We were able to utilize the kitchen to it's full extent and the owners thought of literally everything a cook could want to accommodate our larger group. They even thought of little conveniences like cooking spray for the pans and coffee for our first night in the home. We were able to use the gas grill and had the option of using the fire pit (with supplied logs).

The owners communication was very timely and they were patient with our many questions. The directions on using the home were clear and helpful. We had a couple questions when we first arrived and Greg responded very quickly with the answers.

Greg & Michelle were great about supplying information regarding the surrounding area like where to grocery shop and/or dine out.

If we ever return to PeeWee Valley, Bemersyde would be our first choice. We would also highly recommend this property to other interested renters. It is a fabulous home with all the amenities anyone could ask for and the owners could not have been more accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay, and found it to be perfect for our large group (9 adults, 6 kids). Lots of space within the home to spread out, and plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around and for the adults to relax.

Our family of 10 adults, a toddler land an infant stayed here 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, clean historic house. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and had a nice outdoor gas grill. It was convenient for the bourbon trail tasting sites as well as horse racing at Keeneland. The large family and dining rooms were great for group gatherings.

If we come back to Louisville area for future family events we will stay at Bemersyde, a fantastic property.

My family and I spent a long weekend here and loved every minute of it. Beautiful historic home, with tons of modern amenities. Pool and tennis courts were a hit with all ages and we enjoyed a fun bags tournament in the courtyard as well. We cooked quite a bit and found everything we needed in the kitchen-and it's all labeled so super easy to find. Close to shops and food in Louisville. Would 100% recommend!
