Windmill in the Dutch countryside.

Beautiful renovated windmill in a picturesque scenery. We are a family of 5 (three teenagers) and we all fell in love with the place and did not want to leave.There is a lot of space inside. Downstairs is a hall, a spacious living room and a cosy country kitchen. The first floor has two double bedrooms, a washing machine, 2nd toilet, modern bathroom and the master bedroom takes the whole third floor. We visited in the winter, it was cold outside but the mill kept us very warm. The fire place can't be used (safety reason) but the central heating warms the windmill in no time. The miller ran the windmill during our stay and explained all the ins and outs, very interesting. We highly recommend this place.

Fantastic family stay

We had a wonderful stay at the end of August! Great weather and the local town festival made it extra fun for the children. The windmill had everything we needed and Maarten was very helpful with ideas and places to go locally. A very peaceful setting, with beautiful views and yet a very convenient access to Amsterdam. We loved cycling to the local village using the bikes provided and taking the train into Amsterdam. We definately love to come back one day. Thank you for a great stay!

Before arriving at the house, I was very excited to stay there and had very high expectations. Not only was my expectations met, they were exceeded. The Windmill was very comfortable to stay in, and the views around the area were fabulous. The small village close by was very pretty, and every where we went people were friendly and helpful. Marteen, who we rented from, was very helpful, with great suggestions about where to eat, shop, sight see and more. I would love to stay in his Windmill again, and bring additional friends and family to enjoy it. We acatually got to see the Windmill in operation pumping water, and that was a great experience.

Beautiful, old mill in quiet area

My family and I (2 adults and 3 teenagers) spent a week in this wonderful mill. The mill has been respectfully and beautifully restored. The area is quiet and filled with both farm animals and wild animals. The 5 bikes are fine and we biked a lot. The neighbours are very friendly. We swam in the canal between the lovely waterlillies. Almost too good to be true and definitely worth a visit!

Traumurlaub in einer wunderschönen Mühle

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in einem aussergewöhnlichen Feriendomizil. Wir haben die unendliche Ruhe genossen, die Natur, den Fluss, die nette Begrüssung und Betreuung durch die Vermieter, die Nähe zu einer sehenswürdigen Stadt wie Amsterdam, alles war 100 % perfekt. Die Beschreibung stimmt zu 100 % mit dem Original überein. Die Mühle ist liebevoll eingerichtet, wir hatten mit 4 Personen sehr viel Platz und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können diese wunderschöne Mühle jederzeit an unsere Freunde weiterempfehlen.
