Did not get the room that was booked
On the day of our arrival our host contacted us that the hotel was renovating rooms. We were assured that we would be getting an exact same room. Upon our arrival the hotel clerk said a room was not available. We were sent away to wait and that we would receive a call when the room was ready. Around 435pm we return because we had not heard from the hotel. When we did check in I was told that we received an “upgrade” on our room and that we would now be on the 17th floor instead of the 12th as promised. The room was not an exact. It was missing the jets in the tub. The TV in the living room area was fuzzy the radio wasn’t working properly. The ice marker was broken. Valet had its ups and downs some guys were really awesome while others made us feel like we were bothering them. At one point one guy even stood by and watched me struggle with the doors while pushing my 3 children out of the building I was even offered a hand by another guest staying at the hotel. I’m not sure what to say although the room was very spacious and clean it did lack the jets and the whole experience was not all pleasant it was very nice to be at such a great location. Our host was as helpful as can be no complaints there. I’m sure if we had arrived at another time and when the hotel was not renovating and we got our original room everything would have worked out perfect provided that valet did a better service then they did this time.
