I recently rented Johns place for a family get together. The house is located on a hill with great views of the surrounding area. There is a playroom in the basement in which the kids enjoyed and everything that was needed was provided. We had a great time enjoying the views and surrounding area. John was always responsive when we had a question or a concern. I would highly recommend this house and would rent again if I visit the area.

Lovely house in a gorgeous location

We were very happy with this home. The location has a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. We were at the location for Thanksgiving. With a group of 6 adults and 2 children we were able to put together a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and not feel cramped for space. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed playing down stairs in the play room and watching their videos in the movie room. The house is in a very quiet country setting. The road up to it can be a challenge in the winter time. All wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles are a plus! Overall, this rental is a gem with a view! If the occasion arrises again for us to need a rental in the Granville New York area, we will look here first!

We just returned from a fantastic stay at this house in Granville. We chose this based on the photos and reviews, and were not disappointed. The house is very comfortable, and the views morning and night are beautiful. We spent most of our days in the surrounding areas, and the nearby grocery had everything we needed to cook at night. The WiFi is great, but some of us had trouble using our phones once we were close to and in the house. The house seemed very clean, although my crawling granddaughter ended up with dog hair on her hands and knees. It didn't really bother us, but for some it might. If you like to hike or run, there is a nice trail on the property. I would definitely recommend this house, and would love to stay there again.

We booked this house looking for a quiet, peaceful mini-family reunion over the weekend prior to July 4th, and it met all of our expectations. The house is located on top of a hill, at the end of a gravel road, and surrounded by fields. The views are amazing, as are the sunsets. The family room is very comfortable and it's open plan so you can still be involved while in the kitchen. The older kids took over the movie room and playroom downstairs in the basement, which you could hear just enough to know they were still alive, but not enough to be intrusive. The house is clean and well maintained. You are close enough to Granville which has pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners were very attentive, giving us some local highlights to explore and expeditiously resolving a couple of minor issues that we had during our stay. Overall, we had a great time, and would happily book this house again.
