Mostly fine but with a few issues
We stayed at The Edge for 5 nights at the beginning of July 2019. Functional and modern it was well equipped and the garden is very nice if the weather is warm.
We felt the property was really overdue a deep clean and fresh coat of paint but was just about acceptable. We only used the main beds and thankfully these were very comfortable which was relief as a previous reviewer's comments on these had worried us somewhat.
As a quiet family of 4 we were a little disconcerted by the signs about not using the garden after 11pm or the neighbours would call the police. A couple of the evenings we were wondering if it worked both ways and might we need to call the police on the neighbours but all calmed down at around 11pm so we didn't need to.
Parking is an issue if you have more than one vehicle and as the property is advertised as sleeping 10 guests I'm guessing most people would have more than one vehicle. No worse than the rest of Brighton to be fair.
The one major issue we had was a non functioning oven in the kitchen. On reporting this we received a stream of text messages telling us to reset the fuses under the stairs. Extremely difficult to get at but we could see none of the fuses had blown so the oven was truly not working. Very annoying for a 5 night stay. Given the amount of time we were there more effort could have been made to resolve this for us.
