Comfortable relaxing accommodation

All the family had an excellent stay at Casa Yasmin. The house is comfortable and very well equipped. The pool was definitely a bonus - clean and warm.
Bergen was helpful and prompt when we needed assistance.
This part of Portugal and Northern Spain is lovely - there is much to do and see: lovely towns and cities and beautiful mountain scenery but be warned - the sea is very very cold.
We found the Portuguese a courteous and friendly people and the fish we ate was fabulous
We would recommend Casa Yasmin without hesitation.

Reactie van de eigenaar This reviewer's comments are very kind, and everything he says about the fantastic pool, people, scenery and food is absolutely true (also that the sea is cold, though the quality of the beaches more than makes up for that, we hope!).
He's also generous, because he doesn't mention the reason he needed assistance - when the water tank overflowed and the house was inundated. Luckily, we were able to find a plumber to come out at night, do a temporary repair, then return the next day to fix things properly, so the inconvenience to the visiting family was minimised. More important is that it won't happen again: we take all such incidents seriously, and have already had the whole water pump and tank mechanisms overhauled and old, worn parts replaced. This fits into our programme of on-going maintenance (following the brand new bathrooms in early 2009) that we hope demonstrates our commitment to high quality service and attention to our guests' comfort.
